Our instructors have Masters's Degrees and are Certified. They have mastered and perfected the art of training and mentoring candidates. Our Instructors and Staff go above and beyond in helping our students complete their training and successfully certify. Our relationship with students doesn’t end when Training is completed. In fact it begins then. We strive to help them through their Certification and Job Search Phases.
Our Phased Approach
Target IT was founded in 2006 as the training division to IT consulting and staffing agency, VCIT Solutions. Over 18 years of experience has allowed us to perfect our training system and build a team of highly experienced certified trainers to help you achieve your goals. Our training cycle is broken into 5 distinct phases. We begin by understanding the student through analyzing previous education and experience in the IT field. Based on this information we will make individualized training recommendations and set expectations for the student’s personalized curriculum.
Career Mentoring is our Flagship Service
In-classroom training courses commence once these first two phases are complete. After classes have finished students will meet 1-on-1 with one of our certified trainers for resume review and formatting, software lifecycle and implementation, and mock interview training. When each step is complete we will help place you in the job you’ve been training for.
We have Accreditations and Partnerships
We are accredited by Non-Public Post Secondary Education Commission (NPEC), which annually reviews and authorizes private post-secondary schools. Additionally, We are an authorized training provider for the Workforce Investment & Opportunity Act (WIOA).
